iFilm English TV to air ‘The Painting Pool’

iFilm’s feature film ‘The Painting Pool’ has been scheduled to go on air on February 19, 2022.

Written by Hamed Mohammadi and directed by Maziar Miri, the movie is a remarkable portrait of two people fighting for their right to be a family despite being mentally challenged.

They try hard to lead a regular life and care for their son, Soheil, but for them everything is a challenge, even cooking or crossing the street, let alone raising a normal child who soon realizes his mentally challenged parents are not like everybody else.

Cast list of ‘The Painting Pool’ includes Negar Javaheriyan, Shahab Hosseini, Elham Korda, Siamak Ehsaee, Fereshteh Sadr-Orafaee, and Sepehrad Farzami.

The movie was nominated in four categories at the 31st edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran, where it managed to win two Chrystal Simorgh awards.

‘The Painting Pool’, made in 2012, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
